About Me

Robbie Cabutaje is an emerging writer and community educator based in Tkarónto (Toronto). He holds a BFA (honours) from OCAD University in curatorial studies and social sciences. Currently, his creative practice explores the intersections of disability identity, mental health and well-being, media technologies, social and cultural history, and critical curation.

In 2022, Robbie curated his first exhibition, Sid Sharp: Unsettled, at the Ada Slaight Student Gallery, which showcased a collection of illustrations by artist and author Sid Sharp. Though his writings are primarily self-published, Robbie’s work has also been featured in local outlets, such as Met Radio and ReDefine Arts.
