About Me
Robbie Cabutaje is an emerging writer, curator, and journalist based in Tkarónto (Toronto), Ontario. Currently, he is working towards a BFA in curatorial practice and social sciences at OCAD University. His creative practice explores the intersections of disability, identity, media technologies, social and cultural history, and critical curation.
In 2022, Robbie curated his first exhibition, Sid Sharp: Unsettled, at the Ada Slaight Student Gallery, which showcased a collection of illustrations by artist and author Sid Sharp. Though his writings are primarily self-published, Robbie’s work has also been featured in local outlets, such as Met Radio and ReDefine Arts.
